If T = 10 then d = 10 x 0.601 / 220.8 = 0.03, and the series converges very rapidly.

If T = 50 then d = 50 x 0.601 / 220.8 = 0.14. The series still converges rapidly, but takes a bit longer to settle.

The reflux oscillates around a mean of N. This oscillation is rapidly damped, and therefore inherently stable.
